ParaWorld is a real-time strategy PC game released on September 25, 2006. It was developed by the German company SEK (Spieleentwicklungskombinat), based in Berlin. The game features more than 50 prehistoric animals, especially dinosaurs and Pleistocene mammals. ParaWorld is a real-time strategy game set in a parallel version of the 19th century where dinosaurs and ice age creatures never became extinct. Armed with dinosaurs and human weapons, players lock into either single-player or multiplayer combat. Up to eight players can battle each other in more than 15 multiplayer levels. Most units are also given humorous “annoyed” responses similar to Warcraft and StarCraft.
